Tim Wang is a Senior Managing Director in the Real Estate Group and the Head of Real Estate China, based in Hong Kong.
Since joining Blackstone in 2010, Mr. Wang has been involved in evaluating real estate investments in China and managing the Greater China portfolio. Mr. Wang led the initiation, sale and restructuring of some of the key investments in China.
Before joining Blackstone, Mr. Wang worked at Bank of America Merrill Lynch’s Real Estate Principal Division in China. He was involved in acquisitions and asset management. Prior to that, Mr. Wang worked for 10 years in various real estate development companies in China and Australia.
Mr. Wang received a Master for International Business degree from Curtin University of Technology. He also has a Bachelor Degree in Economics from Zhejiang University in China. Mr. Wang serves as a member of the ICSC China leadership board and is the Deputy Chairman of SCPG Group.
